Job Title:  Instructor

Wage & Hours: $22.50 Training Rate (LPT) with the intention to go FT after training.

Reports to: Chief Instructor

Job Description: Instructors are integral to the experience at DirtFish Rally School and are responsible for the following:

• Teach, instruct, and coach in a safe, effective, and entertaining manner, following the school curriculum
• Engage with students both in and out of the car
• Be a safety advocate and ensure proper protocol is followed
• Set and tear down courses
• Conduct safe and entertaining demonstration drives
• Provide input to the daily Lead Instructor for requested course work
• Report vehicle issues to the Shop staff and in the vehicle logbooks
• Aid the Instruction Department in new course and curriculum development, instructor training, new systems/policies/procedures implementation

Skills, Education and Other Requirements: 

• Driver’s license with clean driving record required
• High performance driving experience
• Friendly and hardworking, with a helpful and positive attitude
• Ability to work outside in the elements and varying weather conditions
• Professionalism is always of the utmost importance; before, during and after work, while promoting DirtFish when wearing apparel, displaying decals on personal vehicles, and at social gatherings and events
• Knowledge of car mechanics
• Flexible schedule, weekends REQUIRED
• Maintain open attitude to feedback from customers and fellow employees
• Take initiative to complete tasks efficiently
• Must have ability to get in and out of school vehicles several times throughout each day
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Must live locally
